Is there a way to move a linked prim (in relation to the root prim), without moving the other linked prims?

i.e.
CODE

prim 1(root) prim 2
*---------link---------*
stationary able to move using:
llApplyInpulse(),
llMoveToTarget(),
llSetPos(),
or something, anything

there should be because you can llSetHoverHeight() on individual linked prims (i think).

I dont know everything i try drags everytihing else with it or just wont move at all

idk, anyway
thanks

See Child Objects under llSetPos()
