Just released a product in to second life and have found a number of people having problems with the functioning are all using Macs - OK, I'm not down on Macs, think they are great but this is a vehicle and the symptoms are everyting from contols keys not working the same as on PC's to outright crashes of the product, apparently corrupting the scripts so they cannot even be restarted.

If anyone out there has mapped script related problems with macs that need to be avoided or can be worked around, please please PLEASE help me out.

Are the Keys different? - what is going on? Any clues would be helpful.

As a Mac user I can tell you that the fly and stop flying keys don't work on my laptop. have to use the SHIFT - E and SHIFT - C alternatives.

For that, i use the Fn-Up and Fn-Down keys...:)

And as Mac user, i can't tell if there is some difference with PCs, because i have no PC to compare with.

For me I use pgup/pgdn and home for fly flyup/flydown, I've noticed that none of my function keys (f5 etc) work for mapped gestures :( (though I run my macbook closed with an external PC keyboard so..).

Scripts are not run on the client side. They are run on the server side. Nothing in a script can directly cause a client to crash. The only thing I can think of is if the ppl using ur script (which sounds like some kind of vehicle script) are doing some strange things like crossing sim boundaries, etc.
