gun in opensim

I just got my own opensim running. I started playing around with making weapons so sometime when my friends connected I could shoot them. None of the gun or bullet script i have work in opensim. I did some research and it turns out opensim doesnt support loops and some other lsl functions so could someone make some simple gun and bullet scripts no sounds or effects required.

Periods - they are your friends. Use them frequently. Joy!

I don't know for sure about the whole not being able to use loops thing, but I don't see why you'd ever absolutely need one to make a gun. As for LSL functions, that could be a problem. I know the functionality isn't remotely complete, but I thought tasks could at least rez objects..

That's odd.. I have just downloaded that self-same script, corrected a typo in the first line of the Bullet script's state_entry to get it to compile
CODE
    llSetPrimitiveParams([PRIM_TEMP_ON_REZ, TRUE]); 
and shot it off quite happily on my open space sim.

Open Space?... Or Open Sim? If you're running Open Sim, I don't know if you can use LSL at all, can you? (o.o)

They have LSL (although not nearly feature-complete) and even some of their own functions. But yeah, I'd doubt that most scripts are able to be directly copied over and compiled right now.

on my console it provides the error system.overflowexception value exceeds 1100 characters is there anyway i could reset the limit of characters to what i want
