I'm trying to create an automatic install system in which Objects A and B are rezzed on the ground, Object A is clicked, and it transfers a script and object from its inventory to Object B's inventory.

Any advice on the simplest and most reliable way to provide Object B's key to Object A for use in llRemoteLoadScriptPin and llGiveInventory?

Make user touch the update machine: the machine then scans for objects to update, filters according to the owner of what it finds, then sends the script.

It requires that you set the object's PIN to a given value shared with the update machine. This protects third-party objects from receiving the script.
