ZHAO help

I'm using ZHAO in an attachment. It contains a walk, stand and sit. How do i activate the sit anim, is there a command to type or key combination to press?

The sit animation should play when you are sitting on an object.

I actually want to sit on the attachment. its a zimmer with a seat attached.

Also, if you have more than one sit animation loaded in the ZHAO and it's properly identified in the notecard, you ought to be able to choose which anim to use by clicking the ZHAO's Sit button.

is the zimmer a vehicle? more likely you will wear the AO and then wear the zimmer.....

Stuff that's made to be sat on usually have their own animation stuff. More often than not, you'll sit on the zimmer (whatever that is) then turn your ZHAO off to let the zimmer do its own thing.

Its an attachment and I have the zhao in the parent prim. so when I attach it is in stand position and when I move the walk takes over but I am unsure how to use the sit.

Should they be separate and the zhao be worn as a hud?

I woudl wear them separate..... or use a franimations script in the zimmer... less extras to worry about

So would the franimations script give me some sort of command to activate the sit anim?

Or put your own animation script and the two animations in the zimmer (vehicle?) and forget the ZHAO altogether.

lol I have no knowledge of scripting whatsoever.

btw a zimmer is a walking aid.

you cannot sit on an attachment... the ZHAO sit will only activate if you are going into the animation state "Sitting"..... you will need a specialized script to pull off looking like you are sitting on the zimmer seat, UNLESS something like a huddles clan play the animation for you and it is miraculously (or created to be) in the right position to put you tookus on the seat

OK, so here's a generic script that you ought to be able to drop into an attachment along with your two animations (assuming that you have mod permissions for the attachment and that the attachment doesn't have a script of its own that's going to clash with it). Before you use the script, be sure you type the actual names of your stand animation and moving animation into the places at the top of the script where they are defined.

WARNING: I cannot get in world right now to test this script, but it compiles and ought to work. ::fingers crossed::
