Hey there.
We all know the drill.
you own a shopping mall and offer rentable shops.
there is allways at last 1 renter that ask allways how much prims he has left. so i move on to search for a prim coutner that say you how much prims are in use // how much prims did he used. and that on a single click. i saw one day this but the owner didn´t told me about how to make this.
i just eed to click on it and it says "you currently use 30 prims"

can someone help me to find one or to make one?

Thanks a lot

nah not realy i think its a scripting question.
i mean its some sort of land information query so i think the code wouldn´t be so long.

I imagine youd start with llGetParcelPrimCount.... but considering how malls are set up, and the fact that the above doesn't detect /per owner, I'd imagine, you need some sort sensor to get the exact count, at least at the script level..... or just look in land properties, , objects, and check the count for <user name>... isn't that how it's normally done?

I think llGetParcelPrimOwners is what you are looking for, double check the wiki to be sure, i'm half asleep right now or I would for you.

Yeah, the relevant info comes from llGetParcelPrimOwners, but there's more than a little confusion over how / when it works on group-owned land when there's nobody in the sim with the right parcel permissions. So, if it doesn't work for tenants when the owner isn't around... well, see . Oh, and there's some other slight trickiness about objects owned by group, but may not be a problem since in this application it's just a match to the key of the agent who touched the scripted prim.

(Just an FYI based on my experience.)

I made and have been using a prim counter that uses llGetParcelPrimOwners and is deeded to the same group that owns the underlying land.

The prim counter has been working reliabily for others, over a period of weeks, even when I am offline.
