Hi, I've been doing a lot of checking around, including on this forum, and I know the LSL command for rotating an avatar (llPointAt) is broken. For a while I had given up on wanting to rotate an avatar in script, and just settled on people needing to line themselves up correctly to use my animation attachments. However, I've been seeing comments that Abranimations couples animator can rotate you into position. I may end up buying it just to check for myself, but first I want to ask if any of you know how this could be.

Thanks!

They may be doing it with an animation. Rarely do (hug) animations affect the root rotation, so it would be logical that you could have a small cache of animations that rotated the root, then you just need to play the appropriate one.
