Ok I need a way to do something but need a script to accomplish it. What I want to do is have a script I can place into a prim that will auto change the permissions on anything I own and drop into it. I would want to be able to set what pems I need changed or set be it a texture or an object I drop into it's contents.

That is currently impossible to accomplish via scripting.

From: Keknehv Psaltery That is currently impossible to accomplish via scripting. The reason being is that scripts can't modify assets.

From: Jesse Malthus The reason being is that scripts can't modify assets. Yet there are scripts that can affect things like color. transparancy and switching other things on and off. this limit does not make sence...

From: Rraven Moonlight Yet there are scripts that can affect things like color. transparancy and switching other things on and off. this limit does not make sence... They are prim attributes, like a sit target or floating text, not a direct manipulation of the asset parameters.
