I know there is a way to do it, i seen a few av scanners go beyond 96.0 meters (sim wide scan) how is it done? I would like to know if someone can help me out. Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance. 96 is the max. Sim scanners use multiple scanners that travel through the sim and report back to base.

SensorRepeat is kinda buggy though and will sometimes grab av/item's farther out, even if you specified a smaller limit... possibly something to do with intersim communications, I've heard it said about every 5th cycle if the sensor is in range of a border... dunno if that's true, but it does happen on a cycle. straight llsensor calls don't do this, even when run from the timer...

I can confirm that, the AV detector I wear will announce AVs even though I am high up and I don't see any AVs on the map in the current or the neighbor regions. The detector uses SensorRepeat and is set to 96m
