Yeah! I saw this. It was really strange. I carried out some tests by dropping a standard particle script inside a ball and having it disable the particles on touch. It worked fine. Yet my old problematic device just wouldn't stop spitting them particles out. I eventually just lost my patience and ended up totally changing the way my device works. I made it llDie() on touch. KILL THE BASTARD!

I've no idea what's behind this. Maybe if Linden Lab would pay me, I'd go figure it out. :)

Particle systems have definitely been affected, as has sound queuing.

Many a broken product out there now :mad:

I honestly don't know why it works, but if you place the object into edit, and then go to the menu and select duplicate, the duplicate of the scripted object works fine (with particles at least)
and even when the duplicate is taken and rerezed, or distributed it works right.
(i'm updating a lot of customer's items now.....)

that would explain why im getting this problem then... -.- was going to ask for help if someone know a way to stop it since i thought it was a problem with collision_end event.

i have a script that detects a collision, and end collision spose to stop the particle, wich it does... maybe once every 10 times >.<

....
collision_end(integer num_detected)
{llParticleSystem([]);}
...
nooothing happen, it keeps on going.

Woo Hoo, you rock. Thanks for the fix. Been wondering how to get things to work again.
