Hi there I've another question and if it is possible how would it be done please.

Q: Is it possible to swap an article of clothing(and have it worn) on yourself or someone else through scripting?

Example: Person enters a combat sim that gives them a texture pack for free of battle damage. As they get hurt the textures are placed on their avatar to show cuts and stuff. (Even if the permission box comes up that would be fine).

You mean like clothing layers? no, LSL can't touch those.

You might be able to fake it with attachments, say, mostly clear prims with gore and tears and stuff that would change textures on command, but that's not going to be a one size fits all solution like clothing layers would be :/
