Saying they can isn't the same as saying they would. (T_T)

I'm still holding out for C#. (._.)

Hi Nyx. Mono got the verifier in December so now LL can go ahead. They have a C# prototype and they want to let us test it later in the year.

According to Babbage Linden who is working on it, we should have C#... this year! Not in 2012, 2025 or 2050 like all these other things we're waiting for. This year!

And according to a tech talk Babbage did at a Mono meeting, we should then have F#, Python and Ruby... at an unspecified date.

In recent Office Hours, Babbage said that C# is already working. But don't hold your breath. Nothing is expected to happen before Viewer 2.1. Viewer 2.0 should be released in Q2 so, assuming LL will need 6 months to calm down the mob with picks, forks and torches, it is reasonable to expect to see C# next year.

Python is nice but IronPython is a piggy pig, I fear it could be laggy. Maybe Boo could be a good one for SL when it grows up more.

The prospect of getting C# this year is awesome.

If we get it, do we know if any OOP features will be brought with it?
