Please help a novice understand these instructions for the Multi-Move large vehicle script:

"Put all eight Move scripts in the root of each of the linksets (=objects) that compose your Large Vehicle. Put the control script (called "main";) in the pilot seat (it must be a child prim)."

My boat is 50m long, 29 prims, linked, with root prim the forward-most prim on the boat. Am I supposed to unlink the boat and drag the 8 "move scripts" into the "Content" of what will be be root/parent prim (forward-most prim), before linking the boat again? (And also drag the "control" script onto the bench where the pilot will sit?)

Or should i drag the 8 move scripts into several different places on the boat? If this is the case, I have no idea where to drag them.

Thank you!

hm, I'm not a vehicle expert by any means, but if you have only one object you are moving, I don't think you need multi move.

Multi-Move is for moving different, seperate linksets together as a single unit. As Renee pointed out, if you only have one linkset then Multi Move won't do anything.

agree with not needing to use multimove, try looking for a freebie boat script. as a matter of fact try the one located inside the hoboraft. (if you don't have an SLEX account IM me inworld and i'll send you a copy later tonight)

there are several other scripts avalable for boats which cost 0L to play with

So your final Nimbus Score is 8.15, a quite remarkable achievement for a biped. Congratulations Crunch, you should be very proud. :-)
