Greetings, I have searched for some way of signing a string using a HMAC-SHA1 method, (there are some C and python implementations on the web) but I've been having great difficulty (confusion) porting this over into LSL. This is for amazon aws services, where there is a requirement for signing the string using HMAC-SHA1 (as one of the methods). My search has been quite futile and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the links void, I believe its rather uncmmon as I still cant find 'detailed info'. I will probably have to port it over myself.

is HMAC the only variation in use from amazon? if not might be easier to just use what's already available.
