Okay, this is driving me insane, and every piece of documentation I can seem to find would seem to suggest that I've done everything perfectly.
I have group-owned land and would like to set up a simple movie controller that I scripted (so fortunately I have unlimited copies for when it breaks).
So what I've done is set the script and it's notecard to full copy/mod/transfer plus share with group. I then set the object to full copy/mod/transfer plus share with group, then deeded it. However it still doesn't work.
Does anyone have a step-by-step method of doing this? And is there anything script-wise I might be missing?
It's driving me crazy!

you need to DEED it to the group since it's group owned land. most viewer tools like that have a group-land object interface thing for just such a case.

Ah crapcicles, I figured out what it was! My controller checks permissions by attempting to set the parcel texture for media, and then read it back afterwards, but I used the wrong constant, farking idiot that I am!
