Is 76.69 m/sec the max using attachments? Or has somebody found a trick to get past that speed?

I have an animation that lets you bounce around at insane speeds... maybe if you had an animation that moved you forward... instead of up and down /sideways..

As I type this, I'm now over a million meters above clyde. I can't reach my attachment anymore, so I don't know how I"m going to get down. I'll let you know how this goes.

I use llApplyImpulse, and a few moderation scripts (that handle braking, and decelleration) to move at a roughly constant 255m/sec.

*cough* the reason they added the a terminal velocity for falling was so you couldn't fly up to 3+ km and fall through prims at 255m/s From: someone I can't reach my attachment anymore, so I don't know how I"m going to get down.
why not keep a script open but not saved that can get you down? then save it and run it when you need to... But anyway what's it like over 4km? i've never been up above 3.95km

Well this is cheating but if you sit on a prim then select it enter edit mode you can type in 999999 straight up thats the blue direction ( the only safe direction to travel) your avatar moves to 768 approx meters in the time it takes you to click the mouse in another area. Moves so fast you'd swear the universe moved not your little guy it didn't even mess up his hair.
