Hi all, thank you for your time invested in reading this.

I searched through the forums and could not find an answer to my questions, maybe my grok skills are not good enough =). Hopefully collective intelligence will prevail =).

I was wondering if anybody had ideas how to accomplish the following:

Give an object from inside of an object’s inventory to an agent and have it auto-attach. (After it has asked for permission of course).

You can't really.

You can only have objects attach to their owner, so you need to give the inventory so it's theirs. Once you give, it goes into inventory and there is no way for a script to control it there... you have to tell them to attach or rez it. There's little point in getting them to rez it when they can attach it directly.

There are lots of things (coffee machines being a nice example) that would work wonderfully as you describe, it's just not doable.
