I've tried searching the forum with no luck, sorry for the noob question.

I have a window controller that I purchased but it must be using llsay, cause in a medium-sized house, the windows that are 30m away don't respond. Is there a way to listen to see what channel they are communicating on? I figure then I can put in a repeater.

Thanks,
Jacer

about all you can do is open some listeners on a series of channels, see if anything is out there, plug in the next range, repeat. This could take a really long time if the channel is some high or low number, you can't just listen on all channels in one step (only 65 listens at a time).

It would be a lot easier to ask the maker what the channel is, or if you could get a version of the script that speaks a little more loudly.

What all does the controller do? Sure we could point you to an open source one here in the forum or library. Now we have llRegionSay which is not limited by distance in the sim and is actually more sim freindly.
