Even if permissions have been set, you cannot break or set links if a AV is on the prim. What I want to understand is whethere there is a logical reason why this is a rule. If an AV has given premissions to break/set links why should it be prohibited?

Probably in the past it caused SL to crash. We are probably talking during beta.
