I have a script set up to show various textures on a prim taken from its inv. at the imput of a user but it isnt changing the textue. If i open up the edit window it shows it changed under textures but wont actually change on the prim until i click on the texture block as if i was gonna pick a texture can someone help?

Not without a copy of your script, no. Can't think of any reasons off the top of my head, that's for sure.
