Is there anyway to hide the floating name above your head and im meaning so no one can see it.

No, not with a script, or otherwise. Also, even if you were able to obscure your name with some kind of prim hack, other users would still be able to get it from the mouseover tooltip, and via sensors and so on.

I believe there is an option in preferences to hide everyones name, but it'll stop showing everyones, not just yours, let me go find what its called..

I was wrong, it does just hide yours..
Press Ctrl+P Choose to general tab Check the "Hide my name on screen" box Click Apply Done! _____________________

note, this only does it for your own name on your own screen, this is so it doesn't get in the way, not so you can remain anonymous.

Im not worried abot sensors and mouseovers, you see im making a game I have a tiny bunny av and people have to try and hunt me but with the big name floating above me it dosent help. I tried with a invisi prim it seem to hide it but you have to make it quite large to hide the whole thing and it hides other people behind it so it dosent really work. From what iv seen about the name im guessing it some sort of particle effect so is there a way for a invisi prim to hide only particles.
