How do I script?

I have here a cabinet with a drawer. A cabinet alone composed of 6 prims and a drawer composed of 6 prims. These are different objects. A cabinet is different object from a drawer. The drawer has a script of closing and opening. I want these two object to be link inorder that if one object is drag then the other object still attached with that object I am dragging of. How do I script for this? Because when I link the two objects then the script will function as whole. Hope to hear your comments on this. Thanks.
