Did they fix so we can't reset a no mod script?

I thought we used to could reset them.. I don't want to do anything weird to it, just reset it because it stopped working, Recompile looks like it's disabled for no mod stuff as well..

Has it always been like this?

If that is the case it is certainly a change. I have used recompile on bought no-copy/no-mod furniture successfully in the past.
