I've got this high-prim bike that my two business partners and I have been working on. By high-prim bike, I mean that what you actually sit on and ride consists of very few prims... just two wheels, and a seat. You basically "wear" the other parts of the bike so that, from an appearance standpoint, it appears that you are actually sitting on a fully tricked-out bike.
My problem is this. Depending on which one of us takes the bike for a test drive, all on the same track, the bike bounces like a rubber ball for two of us and rides and handles quite nicely for one of us. Consistently.
We've all tried taking off our mega-prim motorcycle boots in hopes of leveling the playing field, so to speak, but that seems to make no difference whatsoever. Can anyone explain whatever other factors may be coming into play that would cause such inconsistencies between drivers?
Thanks for any and all help! Rutherford Beresford

Do any of you have attachments that affect movement in any way ("movelock", "flight assist", etc.)? That could easily do it.

No, none of us are wearing anything like that. Any other things you can think that would cause such strange inconsistencies between us?

Is there maybe a major height difference between the three of you? You might want to try to adjust the sit target, or maybe put a transparent sphere around the bike to dampen collisions.

No idea. I wonder if connection speed and viewer responsiveness might cause differences.

One other thing you might check is if the avitar bounding box is hitting the ground. this screwed me up once. Try raising the sit height half a meter and the three of you try riding again. If its noticably smoother, redo your ride anim, and lower it to the floor before you save. Once in a while the the anim is created to high, and that lets the bounding box extend into the ground while sitting, this leaves your bike balancing on one leg. Usually its pretty obvious, but if its just barely touching, then the third guy might have a bit shorter legs, and isnt having the same issue. hope it helps

Ahh. That's an interested idea. Might also try removing (or not playing) the animation to see where the actual avatar is sitting and help debug that situation.
