While I'm opening a Healing art school that will teach Tai-chi, yoga, aerobics, art, and many other fun classes, I need some expertise in scripting.
I need to put up 8 pictures on the wall. One at the north wall, one at the east wall, one at the south wall and one at the west wall. And four more at the corner diangle-ly. The last four would be positioned like the corners of a stop sign. In other words, imagine you are in a stop sign shaped room with 8 walls with a picture or picture frames on every wall. Heres the catch, when you select a button, all 8 pictures changes to a specified picture or movie. Is this possible. I want to make a person feel like he/she are standing in the middle of a tai-chi class with 8 guys performing the slow tai-chi poses. During eye movement, that person at the center of the room, will check his posture by looking in whatever direction he needs. I will provide the right picture for the right pose. I will do an animation 8 times, each having the right direction. For an example:
9 guys standing in rows 3 by 3, all facing the sun or north. The middle guy is the viewer in eye view. When all 8 guys turn to the east, the middle guy will be able to see that and turn east along with them, If he looks behind, the back row will be looking at him. When he looks at the front, he will be seeing the backs of the guys in the front row. Look to the right or left, he will see that the guys are facing the same direction.
Is it possible to have a animation pose balls that will sync with the pictures or movie on the wall ? Is it possible to have 8 or more animation balls in the room, all in sync with each other. Once I get all these things built, I can start another marketing plan to bring more people to SecondLife. Can one help me with the scripting? Later, learning how to paint will also be awesome.

What a cool idea.

How about creating 8 alternative accounts and having them permanently logged in and stationed at your Tai chi room. You would position these alts aroud the actual user and send them movement commands through an altered Dance Machine that would make sure that everyone moves in synch.

Alternatively, you can ditch the alt avatar idea, and do the dance machine conversion thing. And make sure that your users meet in groups at certain times to all do tai chi together.

When I look at your proposal I don't see a need for lots of coding. It's just that there might be easier ways of accomplishing the same effect with much less effort.

Good luck,

Troy
