When guns are safe, only safe people will have guns!
Uhhh NM... Seems like you could easily use "states" to turn the gun script features on and off. _____________________

Why not just add a boolean value?
If(safe != TRUE) //allow weapon to work else //don't allow weapon to work Seems pretty straightforward... _____________________

I think what people are trying to say is there is no one way to create a "safety on a gun". It is going to depend on the script you are modifying that currently does not have a safety, and how it works.
But yeah, as Kenn suggests, some sort of value you can turn on and off in script and check before firing, also a listener that handles a couple of commands on a known channel to toggle this value on and off. That ought to just about do it. |
