Hello All , and please forgive me for the intrustion but I am in dire need of some help and guidance here.
I have really gone out here and have built my first television. It is looking very nice in my opinion and quite detailed.
I have always usually bought scripts as I in no way am quite ready or have the knowledge needed to sucessfully script in LSL.
However, here is where I am running into trouble , writing , buying and or getting help with advice on.
I would really love to include a youtube video player that matches my design. I have created the object for this however am in need of a script that does that rest. They do exist out there but it seems no one has a copy and trans version of the script that I may give with the item and have all copyrights point to them.
Simple explanation .... script that sets land video media url to a youtube video url
More elaborate explanation ....
I would love to have the avatar ... (Anyone) be able to touch the object and recieve a prompt in local chat to say a youtube link.
Then have that link either converted via youtubemp4.com to the correct link viewable in second life using the quicktime client.
Then take that new link which isnt much different than the orginal said by the avatar and set it as the land video url.
If nothing is said within say 30 seconds i would like the script to stop listening and to resume or start over upon touch.
Iv'e found many of these for sale in world but this creation , really my first is my pride and joy and would love to include all the goodies with the tv. I have a stereo system that is placed into the tv stand that changes the music for the land. the freeview script in the tv section of the set up and am attempting to make the dvd , vcr player a youtube player.
If anyone would kindly consider helping me on this or even providing there companies youtube script that does the above as copy, trans ... no modify and send me a lm and anything they would like me to include with that I would glady pay for that privelage or pay for the privelage to have a scripter help me on this project.
Thank you again for your time.
