Greetings Fellow Scripters!
This forum and the people in it have been so helpful and I thank you again for past tips and in advance for the one I am about to ask
My last question was regarding combining internal animations and homemade anims when sitting on a pose ball

How in the world can you combine MULTIPLE anims ..internal and external in a single script and or pose ball
For example..First animation
External "Jump Squat" made by myself combined with an internal animation of "express_anger"

Followed by an imported Anim of "Play Dead" with an internal animation of "express_sad_emote "
etc etc
is there any limit to the ammount of combinations and what are the link parameters in doing so?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If I understand your question correctly I suspect that the effect of combining animations (running more than one simultaneously) has a lot to do with the animation's priority. I also believe that these priorities don't always effect all joints - something to do with the first frame vs second frame defining which joints are within the scope of the animation?

Basically, I'm no expert but I think the Animation Tips forum might be a better bet than Scripting Tips. In scripting terms you can have multiple scripts running more than one animation... the end result, however, has more to do with the animations than the scripts.

With apologies if I've misinterpreted your question!

Actually the answer of combining internal and external animations was already graciously answered ina previous thread on the Scripters forum but what I was looking for now is script that will play animations consecutively..

An internal and external animation ..
Jump Squat (one that I made) and a SL internal animation like "express_anger"

Followed THEN by another combined Internal and External Animation

Thanx for your response tho!!!

If no one can come up with the combined Expression and External Anims then perhaps the script for running multiple animations consecutively?
Thanx and Happy New Year everyone!

llStartAnimation(whatever);
llSleep(time);
llStartAnimation(whatever2);
llStopAnimation(whatever);
llSleep(time2);
...

One way to do it.

Built in animations you can call by name.
"external" animations, i.e. those that players made and uploaded you will have to put into the object that has the script and then reference them by name.

A list of internal animations is available somewhere on the wiki.
