I'm trying to create a script that scans people and if needed move to their location.

Can i attach an object and set status to phantom and physical and use movetopos and stopmove to get to desired location. Im setting phantom so that i can move thru walls and other blocking objects.

Thanks

no, I dont think setting the status to phantom will make a difference. once the object is attached, use llMovetotarget to move the avatar. you cannot specify rotation

You can also create something to sit on, which you can then both move and create. The MistyTool Hud offers something similar called "non-phys".

I'm able to do it when its open space. Its not working when there is a wall or some obstruction in between.

Yes Lyn, I'll experiment with non-physics multiple setpos and see how that works. Thanks
