Is it possible for a script to call a user-defined function directly in another script in the same prim and receive a return value?

Hank Ramos informed me in-world that I should use llMessageLinked, and I am very grateful.

Unfortunately, there really is no way to include other scripts for functions and such, however if its a simple pass value, return value function, it should be easy enough to use llMessageLinked() for that purpose as Hank suggested.

Now if we could just get LL to allow sharing of globals between scripts in the same prim. What a pain in the rear when you have to llMessageLinked your globals change of values back & forth! pffft
