I went to copy the asset UUID from an object of mine in my inventory. But when I go to paste it in a script, I get all zeroes. Any comments appreciated!

Objects must be in-world (rezzed) to have a UUID.
Aria.
edit: prolly no copy ones keep same uuid actually either if in-world or not, but I don't think you can get it from inventory anyway.

I think the only assets that you can "Copy UUID" on are textures and sounds, since they don't require being in the scripted objects inventory to use.
No Transfer or No Copy assets will show up with a uuid of all zero's because they're required to be in the scripted object in order to use.
I think.

I believe you can copy the UUIDs of notecards and scripts too. In any case, you must have full permissions on the item to get its key from inventory or via script.
