Can a script invoke a shape/skin/outfit/etc?

I'd like to make an object which, when used, makes changes to my own appearance. It could just invoke one outfit.

Is there a way to do that? I've looked around in the manuals and such and if it's possible I must be misunderstanding something.

No, unfortunately it's not possible. The most an object can do is to attach/detach itself to its owner. So unless the outfit is an entire attachment set, there is now way to automate this process.

Damn.

Well, I'll just have to look out for that feature.

There is a feature proposal about this. I didn't create it, but i put some votes behind it. I have no idea if it will go anywhere.
