Quicktime Video feedback possible?

Hi, this is probably more of a feature request as I have searched everywhere for an answer but here goes. Is there anyway to get information back from the Quicktime playback of video to a script - as an example it would be nice to be able to tell if the video playback has stalled. I know how to do this in e.g. Javascript in a web page but LSL seems only to have the ability to start the video, let go and pray

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!
