Possible for a prim to follow someone *only* on your/group property? |

I've been making a pet script for one of my group's mystical themed lands, and the owner thinks it'd be really cool if one of our "wisps" would follow people within 5m of them while they browsed our goods. I can make a pet script that follows someone when they come within a certain range of a pet, but, I can't get it to stop following them once they get off the property. any suggestions how to do that?

I'd investigate the various land-ownership-detecting functions, such as llOverMyLand (if the item can be deeded to group) or llGetLandOwnerAt (and compare the key to one gotten when the wisp is first rezzed). _____________________

Set the 3d area which constrains it. IF the person it follows goes outside this area, it can either bounce against the wall or better yet the hitting of this constraint sends it back to 'home' position.
Just a simple coord check |

Just a simple coord check That would work, if you wish to set a specific area; my method will work on any given parcel of land of any shape. ![]() _____________________
