Hi, I am rather new to LSL but not so new to programming. I was hoping to see if someone knows of any good tutorials or examples to help me get started with scripting HUD control panels to interact with prims and groups of prims. I am hoping to get some ideas on how to accomplish the following:
- Changing prim color - Changing prim size - Changing prim texture
* All while pushing buttons on a HUD control panel
My main concern is learning best practices when undertaking this kind of project. How to make things secure, byte size, etc.
Any help is most appreciated.

Do a Forum Search on the word "Primz".

Take a look at the Prim Torture script Only thing I see as an issue is that the prim/object you want to edit will require a script to receive any instructions from the HUD? You will also need some way of telling the HUD which prim/object you want it to talk to. You could have a script in each prim that broadcasts its ID to the HUD either continuiously or when touched, but seems a bit cumbersome IMO.
