Script error in every chair in my store -- pls help!

I don't know if it is the update or not but today I found that EVERY chair and sofa seat in my store -- several hundred of them -- gives a script error on sit ( Could not find animation '00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000'). I have tried everything, including scrubbing and putting a new script in , restarting my sims, etc.

The sits still work, just give that error. I am sick at the thought of redoing everything, and replacing every chair I have ever sold -- it will take weeks.

Is this caused by the server update? Any suggestions?

might help if you show the snippet of the changed event or permissions event that triggers the animation. it might not be the animation you're starting that's throwing the error, but rather the default sit animation i assume you're trying to stop. make sure you have it spelled correctly in the script

Thank you -- the script is no mod so I can't see it. I am afraid I don't know where to see the snippet of the changed event or permissions event.

In the meantime, someone saw one of my posts and visited my store and she did not see the error, thank God, so I am praying it is something on my end!

Thanks again!

Even if you can't get into the script, you ought to be able to reset it. Open your Edit window (CTRL-3), left click on the prim that has the script in it, and go to Tools >> Reset Scripts in Selection. (You may need to check the Edit Linked Parts box.) If the script's changed event didn't trigger properly when you dropped a new animation into the furniture, it would give that error message. Resetting the script would force it to look deliberately for whatever animations are in inventory.

Eeep. Me too.

Many thanks for the help, all! It was something to do with my avi, not the script -- TG!
