i got it just on the border of a grid square thingy and hoping that the next one along will not get developed and ruin my view.

Hee hee, I figured it out when I ran back across you post in the OTHER thread.

I posted my experience with a situation like yours. I hope for your sake you don't end up like I did. It was sad as I owned A LOT of land and the entire view as ruined.

Sorry to hear that they took the view away from you. That's plain cruel.

When I was searching I came across a number of parcels that were 'on the edge'... high on a cliff and looking into the sea. But I couldn't fly into the sea so that must have been the end of the world.

Someone also described to me that she hd a beach in front of her place and that one day it just dropped and she found herself on the edge. So I'm a bit worried. And annoyed that LL are not as conservationists are they could be. It's virtual, afterall. We do they need to extend and island when they can simply build a new one?

In the meantime I'll take more snapshots to remember the view when I don't have one.

It's not a big deal now, at the time it was, I was heart broken. There was no warning at least none that I was aware of.

Now where I am, in Thyris, I'm mostly happy, it's a nice sim, quiet - a little laggy, can't tell if it's the mall or the casino..and I have a neighbor that's unhappy with me, but hey things just can't always be perfect right? But if there is a such thing as perfect then Thyris comes the closest.

Come See me sometime! If I'm not in world, just profile me and pop over using my Picks!
