This is a result of my playing with height maps to make terrain raw files.  I was pleased with the results to say the least, and it looks even better in world

Very cool land sculpt! I agree. It does look like a phoenix. Maybe there should be some volcanic activity on the island  |

using some custom land textures could greatly enhance the phoenix effect as well. Very, very nice, I could see a really awesome themed sim coming out of that.
