Unshra's first build

This is my first build a few days into SL and I must say that the freedom in SL is far greater then There.com.

I based my build off of a RL blueprint and went on trying out anything and everything to get it to work. I think the hardest thing was the roof which I and still not happy with and will be modifying later on. The in floor Japanese bath is also my build and it functions off of common used hot tub scripts, I will later modified the tub to control the water spout. As for the doors they work and while there are a few areas without doors I think I will leave them that way as they give easy access to the desk and soon to be meditation room.

Anyways after about 6 hours of experimenting and find out how things worked I started the build and it took about 3+ hours to complete, a lot of stand around and just thinking and around 300+ prims. The house is bigger then it looks taking most of a 4096sqm plot. ^_^

My next task is decorating I plan to get rid of the filler bed and build my own and go from there with the rest of the house. As for landscaping I plan on hiring someone for that as I seem to lack the skill for designing a Japanese inspired garden. ^_^

Thank you, I am thinking about upgrading to a bigger lot when I can have a whole Japanese garden theme. If that happens I'll have a lot fun building the other buildings for the new location. It should turn out great, I still can't believe the level of freedom SL gives the users I wish more MMOs would follow this style of freedom even to a smaller more controlled degree. ^_^

Here is my second home, built for my new neighbors on the 4th of July. The pool was started and finished today. Seeing how my neighbors got ripped by some sad pre-mod of a home I build them this one for free as a welcome to SL gift there is also a decent sized deck at the front of the house. They are both former TSO players. ^_^

I should note the final version does have working doors (one swing with sound two sliding with out sound) and railing for the stairs and top floor seeing they didn't want a wall. ^_^
