Happy Pre-Halloween, everybody! I made myself a necklace last night, and since I'm totally new to jewelry making, I thought I'd post a snap of it. I don't know how people make tiny little detailed things without going blind!
I made this because I needed something punkish to go with the earrings I was wearing; it's just a simple gold circlet with a couple of thorns (or barbs) and a couple of red 'blood' drops. I'm pretty happy with it, as a first effort, although I may play with the design a bit more. What do ya think?

A sense of final effect is everything. This is a good first try and I think you achieved effect. If you enjoyed making it and want to know how to not go blind then feel free to IM me inworld and I'll give you some tips.

I like it a lot. I also recently started #1 making prims, hehe and then I also moved on to jewelry. I picked jewelry 'cuz I figured there weren't necessarily any set rules I had to follow, could be very abstract if i liked, since i was still playing w/ prims. Yeah that tiny stuff can be a bitch.  Very nice tho. I am so not a pro, but maybe could share a 'lil bit of what I've learned and done w/ U as well.
