well I'm selling a spikey wristband which I carefully made to try to even out the spikes. 83 prims with full rights minus resell

I'm also selling the hair that you see that has 96 prims which coms in two sets, the fringe and the spikey hair peice. All permissins except resell.

No harsh comments please these were my first attempts.
In desperate need of money thats why I'm attempting to make stuff.

not a shopper so can't help on price but they look good. the bracelet is very nicely done. glad to see ppl still trying to make their own way. be warned tho, selling often starts out very slowly til your name gets out there, unless you come up with the latest wundertoy.
keep up the nice work, and keep your chin up 8D hope you do well.

They're good for first shots. The hair, if you're willing to make more textures, could go for about 100L.
The bracelet would be another 100-150L, probably.
The collar could use a little more detailing, so 50L, but a little more work could totally bump it up to 100L.
Keep up the good work. ^^

I'm guessing you already started selling this so I guess I'm too late, but..

83 prims? It looks great, but I'm guessing you aren't a scripter..
see, when you walk around with an 83 prim object, every body who sees you's computer is going to have to load all of those prims - I built an airship out of far less than 83 prims. Consequently, when people's computers are busy loading all of the prims on that bracelet, they're not going to be loading other things as quickly as they could, so you contribute to lag and slow load times.

It looks nice, it does, but you should maybe practice with textures and bump maps so you don't need to use quite so many prims. That braclet could have done in one, maybe three at most.

It could have been made as a single textured loop, but it would have looked flat and dull - plus people would see it as 'just a texture' and not be willing to pay out for it. It's a hard argument - yes, it is sensible to keep things as low-prim as possible - but you sacrifice quality. I don't wear much jewellery but I'd pay for a beautifully made, prim-link necklace. I wouldn't put any money into a single cylinder with a texture on it, mainly because it would look naff and I could make that myself anyway.

You have to choose a balance between being nice to computers, and losing quality. I think you have to trust your customers to have the good judgement to take something off in a high-lag environment. Admittedly, most people don't have the sense, but then, if it becomes a choice between that or just not having any customers, I know which I'd go for. Just let people know how many prims they're getting, and keep it as low as you can, I think that's all you can do. If we all made everything with the bare minimum of prims, SL would be speedy as all hell, but as ugly as it too.

Aside from that, I agree with what's been said - the bracelet is really good stuff. The collar, yeah, perhaps a little 'bland' if that's not too strong a word, though a good start to develop. I know nothing of making hair, but just responding to what I see, it looks good but not finished - there are tufts of hair that don't seem 'attached' which could do with having their ends hidden, but aside from that it looks very cool. It looks like you're using a texture with a transparent edge, but the edge is on the head-side of your 'strands' instead of the ends, which makes it look like it's floating above. But yes, great stuff - with a bit of tidying I'd say you've done a damn good job!

i confirm for the bracelet, definitely too many prims you should try to re think the concept of the object and how you could get the same overal result with less prims
