What is the Ugliest Build in SL?

While there a lot of great builds in SL, I have noticed some really UGLY builds. Many times they are just plain ugly intrinsically, other times the build may be OK but just is way out of place in the sim, or in my example at Phasma(8,119,222), both!

The Phasma is a beautiful and mountainous continuation of Carmine where I live and this build is totally out of place. Now granted, someone can do what ever they want with their land..but maybe if we give really ugly builds some recognition, people will think a bit before they get in to huge structures and this thing is HUGE!

And I know I will get the Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and there is some truth to that, but tell me you can look at this sort of build and say that with a straight face.

P.S. I am in the image just to give an idea of scale.

Things like that are why so many people are fleeing the main grid wasteland and buying islands.

No wonder the land next to it is for sale...

The land for sale is at the boundary of Carmine. My home has a nice buffer around it so I can't actually see this build from my place unless I am looking for it.

You're right, that For Sale box is hideous.

now who in the world would clash red words on a yellow box. thanks for pointing that out. I aggree that box has to go. Why is the road standing up?

Sometimes interesting can trump ugliness. one of my neighbors makes furniture with a sort of retro early space age motifs and one his recent creations is a chair that looks like a piece of soviet era rocketry complete with CCCP and the red star. Wouldn't work for me..but definately a case where interesting can trump ugliness.

you know whats funny ? that little yellow box in the middle of that pic was ontop of my old build (which i've removed now) -- its next to a huge skyscraper shaped like a penis too btw..


anyhow... i got this little yellow box which i used to land my chopper on. one day, someone comes along as says "your yellow block is ugly, remove it now or ill go tell the lindens"

i mean, wtf ?? theres 12 bush blocks there and a huge yellow house ;-/

House? That's a full-on skyscraper! And, oddly, they're not Bush signs - it's a Canadian one saying "Impeach Harper".
