In June every year we in Sweden celebrate Midsummer. A weekend of family party and happines. The night are as long as the day and it will never be totaly dark.
We eat and drink and fight with the mosquitos (Al that bite are female
and have a nice weekend off. Yes its herring and snaps and more... Lax (salmon) and fresh potatos and more snaps. Some go for more snaps than that We are dressed up in white or folk costumes. OK as usual only some do.We also gather around a very special symbol: A Middsummer Pole. At that day we dress it with green leaves and flowers - In afternoon we raise it and later dance around it. To folk music.. The children and older people al dance together..
I have this year started to do a Midsummer Pole at the side of the waterfall in Irene - Otherland sims.. (http://www.otherland-group.com/) - In a couple of weeks it will be ready - decorated - and will look as close as possible to a real one.. What you see in the pics are the framework of it..

AL that want one as it looks right now and do the ”dressing” yourself - Can copy it at Irene Bridge - Protected Land, Irene (112, 9, 37) - 1L right now. - The final version will be ready two weeks before Midsummer.. I cross my fingers I get a transfer version of any nice texture.. and a skilled maker of animations put up a animation for sale..
