Flying around on Island Sandbox I saw from a distance what appeared to be an avatar sitting at a desk. Flying closer to see better I saw the attached image, which appears to be named "The Way You Love Me", by Stormy Roentgen. It is a person sitting at a desk, with swirls and stars circling his head, looking at a computer monitor with Second Life on the screen with the word "Excuses" prominently displayed. This made me think of rotations of 180.01, objects snapping back to the size they were before you changed them with the mouse, scripts taking minutes to save and never seeming to reflect changes made in the code within the timespan of my patience for waiting, objects lost on teleport, being turned phantom when crossing sim borders, unpleasant noises emitted from vehicles, values that don't change fast enough when you are editing them to allow you to tab from field to field in a normal manner, often causing the object you are editing to jump into another dimension, a text editor that is worse than the one that came with the LOGO cartridge I used on my Atari 800, and, well, unfortunately, the list goes on beyond the limits of my patience for thinking of problems for which it seems to me there is no excuse.

I like Stormy's art. I've already been cracked up by a number of her pieces, and I recommend visiting her portfolio if you haven't already... I just happened to get trapped inside the jail.

I don't know what the point of this piece of art is -- or if there even is one -- but I sure as heck know it made me laugh.

Hey, on the bright side, the computer primdude ain't on the forums.
