There is a photographers group for studio work...the N30 Developers group...
It is primarily composed of users for the N30 products by MadameG.
However these are all purely photographers...might start there...

Thanks Carson. I'll try to contact them when I get home. I hope they like the idea of a photography contest in which I give the group money and reward a winner of the contest.

The photography studio in Grignano also has a group, and regular contests. I can't think of the exact name of the group at the moment, but Osprey Thereian is in charge; you could find the name in her profile.

Hmmm, how about this idea. Since people who are proud of their work post in GALLERY, how about I make it a Gallery poster contest for this thread.
Rules: Submitted screenshots must include scenery from Ancient Lands.
How to win: I will pick four screenshots from those submitted to this thread by Midnight Monday January 1, 2007. Anything with a submit date past that will be appreciated but not considered for the contest. No other rules, no other stipulations. If it is a good shot, submit it. People, animals, scenery, it doesn't matter.
What do you win? 1000L for each winning screenshot. 20L if you submit anything at all.
Fineprint: The winning screenshots will be made into paintings and displayed in an Ancient Lands municipal building with your name on the painting. You retain full rights, I just want one for display purposes.

hm...this is pretty interesting Martin. A note though, you might want to delay the final date a bit, since SL is down for several hour to come...
Also, would it be allowed to edit the screenshots before submiting?

ARggh, the anguish of SL being down. This is one time that I'm glad I had to come to work. hahah.
Edited photos may be submitted as long as they show Ancient Lands in the background.
EDITED TO ADD: All poseballs on the island can be made invisible by clicking them twice.
