Pic taking and showing

Would someone be so kind as to give me a quick run down as to how I take a pic of myself (or anyone) and load it here?

Here's how.

In SL, look for the SNAPSHOT button... click that, and it'll make a snapshot sound and show you a thumbnail.

What to do next? Whelp, you can choose SNAPSHOT TO DISK and pick a location (directory) to save to. It ends up being a BMP there... your first one will be named Snapshot_001.bmp. BMPs are big files tho, sooo you'll prolly want to use a graphics program to turn it into a JPEG and then

On here, the SL Forums, right below your post you'll see ADDITIONAL OPTIONS. Look for ATTACH FILES, and click the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button. You can click on that and select your file for uploading. If you only attach ONE attachment to a posting, it shows up in full.

Alternatively, if your image is already on the web, use (img)http://www.domain.com/nameofimage.jpg(/img) with those IMG things in SQUARE BRACKETS—[ i m g ] without the spaces... and it'll show up
