Ever wonder what SL was like in the early days? Well, thanks to the Wayback Machine, snapshots of SL's old website exist and can be seen!

•2-1-2001 The site was first detected by Wayback's webcrawlers. It's just an index page.
•6-2-2002 Now the website appears to be for sale... it's possible the original owner was someone else and didn't like the idea, or perhaps LL wasn't sure yet whether the game should be called Second Life or Lindenworld.
•10-10-2002 Now SL is in alpha, and the Early Creators are in full swing.
•11-20-2002 The SL logo appears and SL goes beta.

Most of the pics do not turn up because the Wayback Machine does not save them for space reasons. I notice a few got through in the last one though...
