My latest custom job... sorry, I'm just a gallery whore anymore with building pictures. :)

A gothic-type house in Maui... 450 prims, two stories. Found a new way to make arches.

Nice job! You should have built that for me when I lived in Maui!

Despite not being a treehouse, that is still outstanding work, LF. :D

Lordfly, where's your official website with showcases of your builds? I swear you either had one or deserve one, but I can't seem to find the URL. (I know where your blog is though.)

Found a new way to make arches.

This is very interesting. (My way, with the torus+cylinder, is very prim-heavy, especially if there's an extra torus banding the joint where semicircle meets the straight side.) Flying out to take a look..................

........back. That lava rock in Maui seems to have been quarried for the stonemasonry on the house. : )

The beach sand and the stucco are strongly related too, but the masonry is what pulled my attention, specifically the solid-looking assembly of tall framed arch plus flanking structural elements. Very good contrast with the glass. It's way more prims to frame an arch instead of just leaving cut edges. My preference is for the finished look, and we accept the extra cost in prims.

I wonder what a stripped cornice would look like with that assembly?
