So I've finally decided to build my own store and at least a dozen designs later I suddenly realise that finding just the right "look" isnt as easy as it sounds - lol. Its not just a look that I like and feel comfortable with, but I wanted it to be something that hasnt been used a dozen times before throughout SL.

I've attached a pic of the basic idea I'm working on at the moment, but something feels not right about it. I'm thinking its maybe the grass texture but I was hoping for some suggestions or ideas on what it is I might be finding jarring about the look.

The intention was to put some kind of garden setting in the middle but unless I can find whats not right with the feel of the place then I'll be pulling this down and starting *yet* again :)

oh I forgot to mention, the mountain look that you can see in the background goes around the tents on all 3 sides so it kind of looks like its in a gully (I hope!)

I think you have done a good job with getting the feel you wanted :)

making a store is sort of a process I think. When first set mine up, I try to reflect a little bit of
my personality, as well as provide a theme setting for the kind of clothes I make.

It has evolved a lot!

I think the best thing is to think of it as plant or flower. something that is always growing changing and blossoming as you do :)

good luck on your endeavor! It really is a lovely setting :)
