Wasn't sim degradation supposed to be partially fixed?

So after the last point release and grid failure my home sim got replaced from one of the snazzy new dual processors at 4k sim FPS to some ancient crappy laggy machine.

You don't care, the Linden's certainly don't care, and this post isn't improving my discomfiture any.

Do I understand correctly that if I accidentally crash the sim, I might get a better one upon reboot? Hmm, sorta like gambling only with better potential return.

Edit: yes, this is not appropriate for the Gallery forum. Sorry, 'twas a mistake.

they said something like this update put in the system for assigning servers based on the new rules but that the assignments themselves hadn't been made yet so it would still work like it has in the past until they get that part done. words to that effect. so i guess they do care at least a little. you're right that i don't though. :D

Thanks for paying better attention than I to the plans and for passing that on. Oh, and thanks for not caring ;)
